Contempt actions arise when someone does not follow the terms and provisions of a Court Order. If the Court finds someone in contempt, they can impose sanctions such as attorney’s fees and even incarceration. If you or someone you know is having issues regarding the following of court orders, or are curious about the process of contempt, feel free to call our office line at any time.
